Manon a hit!

Manon seemed to be a great success last night due in no small part to superb singing by Anna and Matthew. There was a buzz on and off stage. The post-show reception was an amazing event at the Tokyo Ballet, which is the HQ of the Japan Cultural Organisation (NBS), and home of Mr Sasaki the tour promoter. He is unfortunately too ill to attend the performances or his parties. He also owns the hotel group in which we are staying. We were treated to a 4-course buffet of mostly western food in an opulent `baroque` salon filled with artwork celebrating dance and music. The toilets even offered a massive selection of colognes to freshen up with! Tony P was in particularly sparkling form chatting and snapping us all with his camera!? A great night.
